Who Deserves LDS Church Censure More?

The LDS Church has two very different groups making the news.  One is largely male and one largely female.  Which one deserves censure more?

  • Ordain Women:  This group, largely made up of women, is asking that the LDS Church consider giving women the priesthood.  Or, at the very least, open up more responsible, higher-level jobs to women.  As far as I know, none of them are armed or dangerous.
Should This Be the New Image for Ordain Women?

  • Armed Insurrectionists:  These Nevada and southern Utah groups, largely male, are carrying around automatic weapons, and, in some cases, threatening Federal officials and others.  Two of the groups are led by Mormons, and are so identified in the national press.

You are asking profound questions. What does the leadership see as “stepping away from the Church”? Who is the Church? What, or who, is being protected? What kind of God do we worship?
    Thank you

The following paragraph by Sephen Oliver was published in the sltrib.com on 30 Jun 2014: “I am having the hardest time reconciling that Kate Kelly is not a member in good standing with the Mormon Church but that Glenn Beck, Cliven Bundy, certain Utah attorneys general, Clark Aposhian, on and on, are regarded as witnesses for Jesus and in good standing.
